Why I’m on Couchsurfing

- This time around (September 2018): 4 days in Berlin hoping to conclude a deal with an artistic agent and meet a couple of film colleagues.

- I've enjoyed so far 2 short experiences with CS in France (whilst living in Canada at the time): one evening in Paris, one week in Angers, both friendly and civilised. CS aside, I'd like to think that years of hitchhiking (Ireland, Brittany, Germany, Holland, Morocco, Thailand) have made me a pretty adaptable, respectful guest. :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Prior to acting (which brings its share of fun memories!) * Hitchhiking... across Germany under the snow, all around Ireland over five rainy years, or in the sun of Morocco and Thailand. * Repainting "my" old Navy ship in the Djibouti heat, playing the recorder at her fore in the middle of the Indian Ocean. * Singing the Beatles in the old Nantes or the blues in fishermen bars in Vendée or Bretagne. * As a civilian helping Canadian troops about to fly to Kandahar: hanging around for long windy Autumn days disguised as an Afghan villager in the middle of the gorgeous Far West prairies of Canada.

French and English grammar = Thanks to 10 years of teaching in these fields and, more primarily, linguistics, I can give efficient and very immediate help on specific French & English grammar topics. My teaching approach: equally old-school (theory-aware) and progressive (practical, with no nonsense and a readiness for innovation).
