Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One of my favourite things in the world is learning about and getting a feel for a place from someone that lives there. I feel like that's the essence of travelling to new places. I've had great experiences with Couchsurfing hosts and meeting other Courchsurfers so far and hope to keep doing so!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love a lot of different music but tend to get drawn to eclectic, alternative type of music. I also love to dance, especially blues/fusion partner dancing.

I'm a movie lover and have spent way too much of my life watching movies. There's so many great movies out there, but Fight Club probably gets a special mention.

I don't spend enough time reading these days. When I was younger The Catcher in the Rye had a particular impact on me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hard to say just one - maybe cliff diving, living in the desert and swimming in waterholes there, swimming with a whale shark, hugging a tiger, nude art modelling, being part of a nude bike ride. If I had to choose one though maybe being part of my dad's miraculous recovery from a brain tumour and its associated issues.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some acroyoga, blues/fusion dancing, contact improv dancing, maybe some basic guitar, renewable energy and IT stuff. I'm always interested in learning more acroyoga, yoga, dancing, meditation and those kinds of thing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Possibly interesting stories and perspectives. Food and company too :)
