So I'm one of those people that's been around so many places that my identity's all mixed up. My mum and dad are Chinese and were born and raised in Malaysia. I grew up in Australia and spent most of my life living in Perth, and then a small town in the middle of the Australian desert called Alice Springs. I left Australia and did some development work in the Philippines for a year and a half, and took the chance to travel around Asia while I was there. Then I moved to the US and lived in a little hippy town in northern California called Arcata for another year and a half. Now I'm living and working in Vientiane, Laos.

In terms of what defines me as a person, or how I might come across, I'm open minded, a pretty good listener and interested in and curious about a lot of different things. Basically I love to learn about everything!

One of my favourite things in the world is learning about and getting a feel for a place from someone that lives there. I feel like that's the essence of travelling to new places. I've had great experiences with Couchsurfing hosts and meeting other Courchsurfers so far and hope to keep doing so!

I love a lot of different music but tend to get drawn to eclectic, alternative type of music. I also love to dance, especially blues/fusion partner dancing.

I'm a movie lover and have spent way too much of my life watching movies. There's so many great movies out there, but Fight Club probably gets a special mention.

I don't spend enough time reading these days. When I was younger The Catcher in the Rye had a particular impact on me.

Hard to say just one - maybe cliff diving, living in the desert and swimming in waterholes there, swimming with a whale shark, hugging a tiger, nude art modelling, being part of a nude bike ride. If I had to choose one though maybe being part of my dad's miraculous recovery from a brain tumour and its associated issues.

I can teach some acroyoga, blues/fusion dancing, maybe some basic guitar, renewable energy and IT stuff. I'm always interested in learning more acroyoga, yoga, dancing, meditation and those kinds of thing.
