ABOUT ME

I was born in beijing, I got information from my father that my great great grandmother had ever served the Empress Dowager Ci Xi(a powerful and charismatic woman who unofficially but effectively controlled the Manchu Qing Dynasty in China for 47 years, from 1861 to her death in 1908) for a pretty long period, so I consequently know more about the Royal Court culture well. For years I have been studying on the Qing Dynasty history during my spare time, which is my favourite apart from Chinese Calligraphy.
About my personality: Honesty and Integrity, treated others sincerely, doing things with earnestness, steadfast patience and responsibility. Having more power on logical thinking organization and coordination ability. Besides, I like cooking during my passtime.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophically speaking, I believe in Buddhism, but not a vegetarian and ascetic, with wordly pleasures around me I alwalys keep the traditional chinese religion called Taoism(modernly: Daoism)deep in my heart, this religious tradition emphasizes that we should live in harmony with the Nature, enjoying the splendid views Nature bequeaths to me. There is a better saying in chinese: He that travels far knows much(读万卷书不如行往里路). It is exactly the same philosophy of mine.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got to know it from a newpaper about a couple of years ago, I like traveling around, letting myself be familiar with a totally different culture and identifying with them is an amazing thing for me, I like this platform much.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

With a couple of years suspension after registering initially, I haven't got any couchsufering experience, but now I am starting with it. I will open my arms welcoming any couchsurfer. Hoping we could be together happily and harmoniously.

Interests

I always feel warm and blissful with friends around me, Chinese traditional culture appeals me much! Reading occupy most of my spare time, I also feel great interest in the Chinese calligraphy.
I minored English during my colleage time, the British & American literature is my great passion.
I would like to share my interests with any couchsurfer if possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am pround to be a Chinese, I am willing to do some volunteering work in India and Africa, WE NEED TO LEARN HOW TO LOVE OTHERS! I suppose it is more important for me than being loved.
