Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet the most people I can and make a difference in the lives of others everyday.
ABOUT ME
A transplanted New Yorker I made a trip back last week and still love the place; but it was good to get home to Asheville. I have more friends here and most of my family is now here. I love the theater here, the tailgate markets, restaurants, music and bookstores. I've joined the Men's Garden Club of Asheville and the Arboretum. Looking forward to re-planting and re-designing our small plot of land.
PHILOSOPHY
I live life on many levels and love meeting people on all of them. Everyone has something to learn from me and they each have something to teach me. What a great exchange!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just getting started. A friend told us how much he enjoys. We plan to do some traveling now that we are semi-retired and like to meet people in the areas we visit so this seems like a great way to do that and travel more.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Going to San Francisco in August and hope to have my first experience. As a kid I used to spend a week with my cousin's family in NYC.
Interests
Cooking, art, theater, music and knitting. I need to get back to that now that the big move is over. Kayaking, hiking, visiting National Parks - learning more American History than I ever did in school. Tea, wine, beer.

Moved to Asheville and met all these amazing people!
Teach, Learn, Share
When I was a sophomore in college, I spent a month in Paris with 30 other students. Some girls were complaining about being bored. Our professor told them, "you take your boredom with you wherever you go." I am never bored.
