...singing under the shower.
People say I'm a calm kind of person...but I love to play music and enjoy all the enriching sides of life...which are plenty! oh yeah.
I feel like what is "me" is in a state of constant transformation...will let you know when I'm done ;)
...forgive yourself (and others).
I'm interested in different languages and different people, I'm interested in meditation and new kinds of "sensing" the world, I like cooking although sometimes I'm just too chaotic to bring about a decent meal, I love playing the guitar, to sing and play Irish folk stuff on my violin -
I also enjoy knitting hats, scarfs and socks during winter and I like to sew stuff (but I'm really not a pro - can you help me?) and from time to time I enjoy painting walls, going for a walk with (or without) nice people, especially in the fields, forests and swamps of my home village, I love listening to Jazz and Irish Folk which's lightness just makes me want to giggle all the way through various stages of euphoria.
I also like reading and writing,
and of course travelling and feeling like you are leaving whole kinds of universes behind to get to know the world and humans in new (and old) kinds of ways.
Music, Movies, and Books
This depends so much on moods and stages of lives I feel, but as magic, weird sources of ongoing enlightment it seem to have emerged George Orwells 1984, a little bit of Goethe, Kafka and Hermann Hesse, Milan Kundera...and to be continued for sure!
I like (psychedelic) Jazz (Art Ensemble of Chicago, Oscar Peterson, Charlie Parker), but I really haven't got a proper clue about it.
I like Klezmer and Irish folk (a lot!), I recently got a little bit into classical and even Arabic music (Umm Kulthoum!) which I thought would never happen, sometimes I like these old time (...and present) supercool guitar players and I can't help get excited over most 70s, 80s and 90s radio charts songs that I grew up with.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've come to this world somehow and now here I am...feels quite crazy already!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some guitar (and violin), I can teach you how to knit socks...and I can even share my recent first sucessful attempts of baking bread!
I'd really like to learn your way of cooking, how to take care of plants and maybe a garden properly and how to make pottery, how to make use of different kinds of herbs, how to crochet and different kinds of dances. Oh yeah I'd love that! And I'd love you to tell me about the books that fascinated you.
Unfortunately I can't teach you how to not feel terribly uncomfortable filling out a social network (couchsurfing) profile...somehow makes me feel far more important than I want to be...I think I will leave it for now :) But I'm looking forward to look you in the eyes while talking! :)
