ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old college student, working hard to finish my education so I can turn right around and begin educating others! It took me awhile to decide what I wanted to do with my life, but after working with kids for a long time, I realized how much I would love to become a teacher. I've started assisting in a fourth grade classroom and if I could have my own class of fourth graders one day, I would be a happy camper!

Being a student now and a teacher later means I have a wonderful thing called summer vacation. I would love to take full advantage of that free time and travel as much as I can, yet this can be pricey on a student's budget. When I was chatting with the owner of a tea shop in Albuquerque, NM, he told me about this site and how it's a great way to travel and/or meet some fantastic people. I'm really hoping I can say the same about this site after using it myself!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a newcomer to the CS project, and as a student I really don't have much to offer as a host but I can assure you I will be a grateful and courteous couch surfer!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to formally couch surf on this site, but I have crashed at several friends houses before and find couches and air mattresses can be very comfy. I'd have to say my favorite place to crash is my sister's futon in Barcelona!

Interests

I have many interests, but some things I have recently gotten into are swing dancing, scuba diving & snorkeling. I also love surfing, hiking, photography...too many things to list!
