ABOUT ME

i play waterpolo in my hometown Eeklo (20km between Ghent and Bruges)and i'm a sportfan in general, which doesn't mean that that's the only thing i do. I enjoy watching a good film,going to concerts or just going out with friends.But this all takes a lot of time and therefore i'm still a student, but luckily i love to learn

PHILOSOPHY

Letting go is therefor one of the ways to be at ease. The danger in this is that rest becomes passitivism, nothing gets done and more aggressive actors take advantage of goodwilling people. There is no art in neglection, carelesness and desinterest, knowing when to act and when to let go is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This year I hitch-hiked to the world cup final in Berlin. When I got there in the middle of the night a girl passed me by on her bike, I asked her where I could find a hotel or camping...and she spontaniously offered me her couch!! At first it was planned for one night, but eventually we had such a good time that she offered me to stay for 3 days:-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I just love films unregarding the genre. All genres get my sympathy, I rather have a good horror, than a bad european alternative one. But in general its the european and asian scene that gets my attention first.
Music: Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, RHCP, Neil Young, and many many many more
Books: from The unbearable lightness of beeing to Lord of the rings...
