My Name's George, I'm 21 years old and from Nottingham, England. I've recently decided to start travelling the world. I'm well travelled for my Age, mainly down to being a British Soldier for 4 years. Upon leaving I went self employed and found work in the Aerospace industry. I decided I'd like to do some travelling for myself and not the Army, and to see and meet new people before progressing in my career, Hence I'm taking some time off.

I live in Nottingham currently with my Dad, In a new build semi-detached house in a nice area. I fly out to Cairn's on the 13th of September of this year, I've got a hostel lined up and I've had plenty of time to do my research. I'm travelling on a Working Holiday Visa. I've got some money saved to get me by or a month or two and I'm hopeful to find some labouring or farm work in this period.

I'm a really open minded and friendly person, I respect most peoples opinions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing for a few reasons, predominately because I'd like to keep things cheap. I'm also really interested in meeting new people, talking over life experience as seeing different peoples way of life. I'm also a strong advocate of the phrase "it's who you know" with that in mind just meeting new people opens new doors in Life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked with the British Army in Kenya, In 2015. It was really rewarding work and showed me how much I should value my position in life and the World, there are always more less fortunate than yourself.

I took Part in "Gorge Jumping" in Kenya, which was certainly an experience!
