I'm really not fond of talking about myself, but let's give a try:
I was born and raised in a (by comparison) pretty small town in the very west of Germany, near the dutch border. That is also the place where I took my A levels and meet my former school mates from time to time.
Now I'm studying Law&Economics in Bonn. This combination is quite intriguing and I take great interest in occupying myself with it. Of course I was bit green when I came to Bonn. However, in the meantime, I got used to live on my own and now it's great to live in the former capital of Germany.
Last semester I started learning french since the latin language I learned in school turned out to not be that useful....Still it makes it way easier to learn further languages. Thus, I'm keen on having some practice and spending some time in France.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The idea behind is amazing. :)
Also, it is way more interesting to get in touch with local people. For a, by comparison, poor student it is a chance one shouldn't miss.
In my free time I like to do sports. When I was younger I played basketball, but now I'm more into tennis. It is very fast and requires a lot of technique. I wouldn't call me a great tennis player, but the fun is what counts. Since I've started my studies I'm rowing once a week. Enjoying the view on the Rhine ist fantastic! And by the way it keeps you fit.
Altough most people hate it I take some interest in politics. It is great subject to debate about. :)
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen a lot to music but I couldn't really say what kind of music I prefer...
Hard to say what my favourite book is. I like reading a lot and there are quite lot enjoyable ones. Probably it's "Robinson Crusoe", one of the first books I read. Altough it 300 years old, it is by no means outdated but fits very well into modern society.
My favourite movie is "Forest Gump" just because it is absolutely brilliant.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled with the "Transsiberian Railway" to Krasnojarsk, an experience I enjoyed a lot, tough it was hard at times.
