ABOUT ME

Ahoy! I'll try to cut this short: The name's Yorgos, a greek guy of spartan descent (-insert 300 quote here-) who studies translation and interpreting in Italy. I'm a veritable globetrotter and now I've set my sights on the city of Grenoble where I'll be spending and hopefully enjoying the next three months of this year. I'll be arriving in town this thursday (9/october) and I would greatly appreciate it if someone would be able to put me up for a couple of nights. That way I could avoid the whole creepy-outskirts-of-the-town-hostel scenario and I would get to see the city through the eyes of a local which I guess is the best point of view one could hope for.

I'm your run-of-the-mill intellectual(oid): I love music, cinema and literature. I loathe the word 'hobby' but if I had to pick one, it'd have to be photography. I love taking pictures, I've worked as a photojournalist and I'm an obsessed film camera collector and enthusiast.
I'm also an avid concert goer. You will probably bump into me on every concert or festival going around town and avoid me 'cause of my awkward dancing.
