I grew up in the south west of Germany, close to the border of France. With 19 years I moved to Berlin, and loved to return there ever since. I lived two years abroad, one in Spain, and one in California. I love to dive into other cultures, live there and get to know everything, and come home empowered and enriched.

I have not backpacked for 10 years, and I felt the call: now is the moment! I quit my job, packed my bag, and left home, knowing I won't come back for a long time.
In this sense I feel again new to this type of travelling. But I already enjoy the challenges and opportunities that life gives you while traveling, it's a mind-widening adventure!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Traveling in the touristic bubble is nice for a few weeks, but boring on the long run. I want to meet the people who LIVE in that country!

Interessen

I love to go sailing, either on the lakes around Berlin, or a week on the Baltic Sea. It's so refreshing, being out there, feel the wind, be connected to the powers of nature, and cook something tasty and read a good book by night.

I love Spain, ever since I lived there I returned regularly, seeing good friends, such a nice culture, everybody on the street, everybody talking to everybody, always sunny weather... :)

I love to be inspired and inspire others :)

Sailing weekly in the San Francisco bay was one of the things that gave me enormous pleasure and a feeling of freedom. I took that home in my heart, and am so grateful for all the lessons and experience.
