About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My Mission is to find my car keys...

ABOUT ME

I hail from the cold winter winds that is the state of North Dakota. I got my undergrad at UND, then decided to move to South America for a bit. Once I returned home, I decided to venture out East and I moved to the D.C. area. I have been here nearly 4 years and still loving it. I did all that I have done entirely on my own, so I am pretty independent.

PHILOSOPHY

I work to live, i don't live to work. And I would much rather travel than own anything. For this reason, I don't even technically own my own couch..haha..but don't worry, I will get one. I just try to absorb everything to make me a much more well-rounded person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am just getting to learn about it and hopefully travel a few places. Once I get my own place (currently live with 3 roommates) I plan on offering up my couch as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never done it. But I have traveled on my own before, so it doesn't scare me..

Interests

I love to run, have ran a lot of half marathons. Love to meet new people and make new friends. Love to go out dancing at a club or chill with a glass of wine at a lounge. I love to venture to new places I have never been and i LOVE all types of ethnic cuisine. Growing up in North Dakota, I didn't have much of that.

Music, Movies, and Books

I alternate between the classics and guilty pleasures when it comes to reading. I love old movies, the black and white kind..you know, Gary Grant, Greta Garbo..
But I also like scary movies, old and new and I wouldn't even mind watching them alone in the dark in an old abandoned house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done was travel to Ethiopia and attend a wedding. That was one incredible experience I would love to tell you about! I have also lived in Spain, and Chile and traveled all over Europe. Lots and Lots of traveling adventures!

Teach, Learn, Share

I make a mean cherry cheesecake. I also speak Spanish..hmm...
