Pretty friendly and easygoing, we are a couple of writers/editors who love travelling and meeting people of all ages from all over the world. K. W. writes science fiction/fantasy/thriller novels; Geri is a performing arts, travel, and lifestyle writer and a freelance copy editor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have just started with CouchSurfing. We are beginning by hosting and hope to branch out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to CouchSurfing as a website, but have surfed informally throughout the United States and Europe. One of the best was in Manhattan where a friend let us live in her office downstairs from her apartment in Chelsea. And then there was the cat/flat-sitting in South London. What a blast!

Interests

We love the classical performing arts (ballet, symphony, opera), theater, and live music from classical to punk rock. Geri is interested in exploring new foods and cooking techniques wherever we have lived. We are project oriented and are always working on a book or an article or trying out a new recipe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having a picnic at the Ring of Brogar in Orkney, the views and wildlife we saw from the canal boat we piloted on the Avon, learning how to knit in Bath, and the first taste of Mediterranean seafood in Mallorca.
