I love to travel...have often used backpackers hostels where getting to know fellow travelers is part of the experience...Couchsurfing seems an extension of that...

Not yet, hoping to soon. Have used backpackers hostels...which are also a wonderful way to meet people and build community with fellow travelers.

Interests

You are kidding...too many things. I love traveling and experiencing both country and city life. Anything in the outdoors, in the woods, the beaches...backpacking, canoeing, fishing.... And then the cities...galleries, music, theater, going out dancing...exploing a new city by foot is always the best. And then there is the homebody side of me...gardening, bonsai, fixing up this old farmhouse....

I used to read...Finally life slowed down enough to read "Life of Pi" recommended to my by my daughter. Thanks Dana!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ok, I know it is cliche...but the most amazing thing I have done is raise two amazing kids...

Most amazing things seen...Traveling to see the standing stones at the Ring of Brodgar would have to be the most amazing...but how do you pick from all of the world...Yosemite from the top of Halfdome, Paris (walking along the Seine) at night....skiing Mt. Damavand (if you know where this is I would be surprised?!)...riding the Skyline drive in Shanendoah NP...all amazing.
