About Me

ABOUT ME

At this moment in my life, I like to just meet and get to know people. I think that it’s the most interesting part of life, being able to converse and share experiences is how we get to know each other.
Also, I love going backpacking around other countries and I’ve road tripped the states. I really enjoyed South Korea (three weeks was definitely not enough time), especially all the wonderful people that I had the chance to meet and spend time with there. Korean food is delicious and I’m always up for hearing about and eating at new places around here. I’ve been down the southeastern coast of Mexico as well, staying in hostels and on the beach in cabanas; very beautiful beaches there! One of my most favorite memories of traveling around Mexico was being one of only two Americans in a hostel that had 30 people in it at the time! I don’t want to leave out MN or the U.S. though. We truly have some amazing places that I’ve been able to spend some time at here in the states. But, my goal is to get to another country before every New Year’s Eve so I can experience how they celebrate it. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide variety of music, my Zune has an extensive library including Ska, Reggae, Punk, Jazz, Underground Hiphop (Rhymesayers ;p), Rock (Classic/Modern), some foreign, a lot of independent, but no opera! :-D
I don’t have a television (really). I watch movies through the internet but not too often.
I read non-fiction but not recently. I think that it’s because I got burned-out from the news; of all things. I stay in touch with global/local events by reading online articles.
