I am a retired English teacher,63, and I live on a French island in the Indian Ocean.
I live with my wife who is retired too.we have three adult children.I like reading,singing and playing the guitar and of course travelling.We are easy-going people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling and meeting locals.The cultural aspect of the visit is essential for me(learning about the History and Geography mainly).

When I was younger I once did bunjee-jumping from a bridge and it was quite thrilling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach french and english and how to play the guitar(for beginners)
I still learn the guitar,and I try to learn a bit of german and Italian but it's a slow process.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Tell them about my native island ,its mountains,beaches,volcano.
Play Scrabble in French,a game of chess.
