Music, Movies, and Books

Best movie ever: Il Meglio Gioventu

I have a real fondness for 19th Century Russian and 20th Century American literature.

The most influential writers have been Fyodor Dostoevsky, TS Eliot, Harold Bloom, Plato, Kierkegaard, Jack Kerouac, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Mikhail Bulgakov, EE Cummings, Vladimir Nabakov and Dave Eggers.

As a classically trained musician and avid devotee of contemporary 'indie rock', my tastes run from blue grass to electronica to hip hop and back again. Big fan of Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, Townes Van Zandt, Phil Ochs, Bob Dylan and Frank Orral.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was an over-the-road, coast-to-coast truck driver in the states for an extended period of time. This experience has forever changed the way I view the world. I understand how small the world can be, how endless the tiring road, and how strong the ties of love.
