Hi! :)

My name is Katerina and I am a young filmmaker and a film student from Prague, Czech Republic studying at FAMU. I travel a lot since ever, if it's for my own restlessness and curiosity or for filmmaking and the work I do.

I like to be an honest and straight-forward to avoid awkward situations and unspoken tension. I love humor and humorous people and because I have the tendency to get stressed easily I like to have positive and relaxed people around. ;) If you want to know more you can always ask!

Still at high school I spent three summer months in Italy with my very close Italian friend, where I also learned the language and after graduating I took a gap year and lived in the United States - Detroit - for about a year, also traveled the States across with my ex-boyfriend and a GMC 98' van ! )
In my third year of studies at the Film Academy in Prague I took an exchange Erasmus year in Norway, where I have attended the Fines Arts Academy and used sometime for myself, now I am back in Prague.

Recently I am traveling mostly for my film-career reasons - visiting European film festivals, forums, etc. and because sometimes I decide for my journey very late, I like to take advantage of couch-surfing in order to not have to spend insane money for last-minute bookings when I am usually so busy that in the end I only (barely) sleep there . :))
