About Me

success in baking eatable bread...

I am an aquarius. I have red hair (I have suspicions that my germanic ancestors had a little affair with one of the pretty celts in the area..hence the gingergene).
All of this meaning:
I like to draw the deepest secrets from your soul, I love to debate endlessly if neccecary about life, death and everything in between; the red hair gives me a temperament, not drastically to any radical point though (depends on where "normal" ends for you?!) I have most conversations in my head, meaning I probably think too much, and I have a habit of filthy humour and jokes that has not been cured yet. Also, I worry too much for my own good.

I am a very active person, always done a lot of sports (football (or soccer..), handball, gymnastics, rowing, rugby, dancing, yoga..) these days I love looong hikes in nature, spinning and all sorts of excercise where you get sweaty and sticky! (If you misinterpret this...your fault...)

Be the deliberate creator of the life you want to live, and always follow your desires.

Follow your bliss, always.

Have less. Be more.

Oh and be uncomfortable, since you know, life starts outside your comfort zone!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The more you read about different cultures, the more you see and hear about different traditions and countries, I feel like the world gets smaller and smaller. For me the world really is my oyster and meeting all these diverse and beautiful people is so interesting and exciting, so CS I have found is simply the best way of doing just that.

In Dunkerque, France for an awsome carneval where Monique & Zarko hosted us for one night. They invited half the town over to their place and showed us the way to party à la Dunkerque-style!

Ha, yes, the week on Gran Canaria was just close to pure bliss! We snorkeled, hiked, ate nothing but fresh, delicious fish and went skinny dipping under the stars (without the skinny dipping though..)

Except for the occasional jog, football game, yoga lesson, or walk, I love the serenity of nature; the smell of old books; the magic of live performances; and organic coffee!?
Oh and on a personal quest to explore the profound craziness of the human mind(s). I am also a big faaaaan of theatre and musicals and try to go to as many plays as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like there are different chapters, different periods in time when you do certain things, meet certain people, visit certain places.
All these stories are seperated by me only, at the same time as they are an inseperable part of me. So amazing things I´ve done are many, and those magical moments only captured by my subjective reality.

Teach, Learn, Share

(But I have come to the realization that it is oh so hard to live like you teach! Ha!)
