About Me

ABOUT ME

I don't much like doing this stuff - always feels really boring! but here goes. Grew up in a pretty inhibited and emotionally stultifying family but we did do a lot of travel when I was a child becauseof my fathers work in the UN (I was 9 the first time I left NZ and at that time there were two flights a week to Australia!) Flyng has changed a bit since then.
Have travelled a lot all my life. Married, had a family, divorced, 3 grandchildren I adore.\
Livng in the NT of Aus to feed my interst in the culuture of the aboriginal people - incredibly fascinating - they have much to teach westerners if only we would listen.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a member of the Baha'i Faith and have been since 1975 - if you don't know anything about it check it out on the internet in the first instance.
Its very important to me, happy to share about it or not if there is no desire to know

Music, Movies, and Books

Love movies, and in the dry there is a fantastic Deck Chair cinema in Darwin - there are a couple of great film fesitvals.
I am a prolific reader and enjoy music 70s 80s and 90s specially when I'm driving long distances

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking in the Kumbu Valley in Nepal springs to mind.
Gosh- so many things, skiing in intersting places, conoeing on the Wanganui River and sometimes its just a rainbow or a beautful butterfly that fills me with wonder
