PHILOSOPHY

The more you live, the better you get (but this is Bob Dylan's ;-) )

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Giving good tips about Milan and other cities I know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did something similar when I was attending AEGEE events. Also, using www.autostop.lt As far as CS is concerned... I'm a veteran ;-) Good experience as a guest, so-and-so as a host. At a certain point, I was quite tired of so many negative experiences. People who don't bother reading the profile, others who do not even reply "thank you" to an invitation. It's pretty clear that women in Milan can choose their host. Kind of a supermarket. And some deserve some negative references for their ridiculous behavior Couples or groups have a hard time, and then, as a last desperate effort, I receive hopeless requests.

Well, now I am more "picky", reading couchrequest... and more satisfied of my experience! :-)

In any case, even getting close to 100 references (100% positive), I see that people (looking for couches) I spontaneously send invitations to.... don't even bother to reply with a "no thanks". That's hard to believe, but true... and too bad it's not enough for a negative reference.
