About Me

I'm a simple woman, born in Mexico raised in California, I love traveling and I always live on Touristic places, I study Tourism just to realize that what I wanted is to travel, I love working in cool hotels and guiding tours around the riviera maya, I'm vegetarian.

Born and raised in between Mexico and California, Gisella has always been in touch with nature, a woman of the earth. After concluding her College Studies with Tourism she moved to Tepoztlán, a magic town in Mexico, where she began to practice bio-dynamic and organic agriculture at "La Casa en Las Nubes" an Eco-Center for sustainable living that she Co-created. It was not very long after she began her studies with herbal medicine and aromatherapy, a long side creating projects for the community, she is the founder of The Organic Market of Tepoztlan and created the Trade Circle.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because every experience I have had here! has been AMAZING!!!
Every single time, the people I have stayed with have been just perfect for that moment, we ended up having friends in common or going to the same festivals, school, etc.
No coincidences here! we had to meet each other one way or another... thanks for couchsurfing!

I`m a dancer, among other activities of my life, dancing is what makes me truly free, I dance to express, to release and to connect with my body. Dancing has become a bliss in my life since I started getting involved in liquid dance, contact improve and ecstatic dance. From a young age I developed a great taste for music and dance, which made me explore different types of dance like Hawaiian, Belly Dance, Tribal, Temple Dance, Oddissi, Kalbelia Gypsy Dance, and African Dance. Despite all the types of dance that I explored, I have never been inclined to devote to any particular style. And with new inspirations and spiritual practices such as Tantra, Temple Arts and Tai chi I fused all my elements to create a Ritual Performance to embody a Prayer Dance with intentional archetypes.

Music, Movies, and Books

well... we'll talk about it in person, it´s just to much to write

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing? hell no! imposible! so many amazing things I have experienced in this life!!! there will be not enough space to write everything down.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have so many gifts to share, I'm currently exploring the new paradigm, trying to finish my transmutation, getting out of the cocoon, almost ready to open my wings and fly!
My soul purpose now is to help others go through their own transmutation, with more information, with exercises, with my own experience.

I've been traveling for many years working on Festival Production, Retreat Centers, Performing and learning. I went back to my home town after the loss of my mother where I began to focus on spiritual practices, I was initiated on the Mahamudra Teachings and Anuttara Tantra Yoga, I also became an Oneironaut practitioner alongside Reiki, Tai chi and Chi gong. With the help of spiritual practices, healing arts and knowledge I invoked the power of the serpent within to help me transmute all pain and channeled "The Ritual of the Serpent" as my medicine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have many gifts to share! I've been studying the therapeutic use of clay, my cultural background and lineage inspired me to perform traditional rituals and sweat lodges. I design head wear and accessories, I also make my performing outfits, My most recent interests are Ayurvedic Aromatherapy, Ayurvedic Nutrition and cooking.
