Hi there! I'm Giulio! a 23-years old guy born and raised in southern Italy, for now I'm a last year student ad the med school in my city, but once I graduate I hope to move to England or Germany (but first I have to learn German, it's so difficult!)
I'm an open minded guy, and even if I seem a little shy at firstbut I really enjoy talking to people and learning something new about other cultures, life experiences and habits! I may seem a quiet person but I really love doing crazy things when I'm in the mood, I think that doing funny things is the best way to build long-lasting memories! So..let's enjoy our trips together!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For making the best out of my time abroad, to meet locals and know the real face of the places i visit...and also to practice my English! Sometimes I feel very awkward about my strong Italian accent!

Interests

I have a lot of intrests, but the thing that I love the most is...cooking! And eating, of course, but there's no thing that relaxes me more than cooking, trying new recipes and see the smiles of people when they eat the dish I've prepared!
Anyway I'm also into music, I play the piano and guitar, I listen mostly to jazz, classical and rock music, but sometimes I enojy electronic and metal music! (it's an old, nostalgic love hahaha)
I read a lot of books, and I always look forward to know authors that maybe aren't translated in my country, or just not popular enough.
I kinda enjoy any form of art to be honest, from photography (I'm trying to get better at taking photos!) to modern and classical art, without forgetting animation ( I have a thing for studio Ghibli movies) and digital art!

there is so much to write about that writing this section would take me a day or two, so maybe I'll tell you in person, but you should know that I really like Murakami's books, the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, a lot of other sci-fi authors and Agatha Christie's Poirot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've driven a snowmobile on a glacier in Iceland, I think is really one of the best thing I've ever done!

I can teach you some Italian recipe! In alternative love cooking for people, so maybe I can cook for you. :) I can share my passion about music and photography, maybe we can play something together or just listen to some good music and relax, or go for a walk and take a lot of pictures!
