About Me

Dear Couchsurfers,

I recently moved from the Würzburg in Bavaria to the pretty Dresden in Saxonia. Since then I rented a flat placed in a GDR building. It was a coincidence but now I really like the charme and started to live a little nostalgic.

I currently write my Bachelor Thesis about the movements of ships.
Before that I spent half a year in Laos for an internship in cadastre surveying. It was a development assistance project carried out from the german government.

I am feel passioneted about saving our planet and so I want to accept the challenge. Therefore I am willing to learn more about sustainable consumption, politcs and intercultural issues. Though, I always try to keep it fun and not too serious. Positive thinking and acting is my philosophy. Anyway I think applying degrowth to my lifestyle combines my lazyness with saving our resources.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I simply like to host people, especially because guests bring the travel atmosphere in my flat, that I miss so much. Guests make me feel participating at their journey.

Once I get to to travel again, guess what I try to give to my hosts..

CS is practicing our good will to share what we have and recieve what we need to strangers.
Since CS got very popular over the years I hope we can take it as an advantage as more people get into the sharing...

Listening Vinyls.
Together with a few beers I end up getting the best ideas..

Since summer 2014 I would call myself a vegan. It made me experimenting with food a lot so I explored my hidden passion which turned out to be cooking.

I recently joined a vegetable coop and I am keen to learn how to grow your owhn vegetables. Seasonal, local and ecological food is how I would like to adapt my diet.

I love snowboarding and cross country skiing. In summer it will be not more then using my bicycle.
