About Me

Hello you awesome human kind!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I simply like to host people, especially because guests bring the travel atmosphere in my flat that I miss so much. Guests make me feel participating at their journey.

Once I get to to travel again, guess what I try to give to my hosts..

CS is practicing our good will to share what we have and recieve what we need to strangers.
Since CS got very popular over the years I hope we can take it as an advantage as more people get into the sharing...

I listen to 60´s 70´s Psych-Rock, Retro-Rock, Stoner Rock, Electronic, Downtempo
I play the bass guitar a little.

I love to cook from seasonal and local vegetables.

I recently joined a vegetable coop and I am keen to learn how to grow your own vegetables. Seasonal, local and ecological food is how I would like to adapt my diet.

I love snowboarding, cross country skiing and ice-skating. In summer it will be not more then using my bicycle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I built a bamboo bike and sent it in a relay-race around the globe. It is for promoting intercultural sharing, sustainable resources and drinking water for everyone.

I did a three weeks motorbike tour in north of Laos and visited several hidden villages in mountain area.

I hitchhiked from Germany to Greece by passing through Croatia, Bosnia, Albania and Montegnegro

I hitchhiked from Germany to the Pyrenees and hiked from there to the atlantic ocean (Camino the Santiago).

I hitchhiked from Darwin to Adelaide through the middle of the desert.

I cycled from Germany to Turkey in summer 2015.

I did a vipassana meditation course (10 days of silence)

I spent half a year in remote villages in Laos to explore the local way of eating beatles for breakfast.

Teach, Learn, Share

For my guests:

In the evening I like to cook with you and have a few drinks. If there is a good concert or party I will definitely ask you to join! If i have time and mood I can also be your personal tour guide in Dresden. Very simple, but at least a good overview about Dresden...
