Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
If you are visiting Melbourne or Ho Chi Minh City and need short-term accommodation that promises to be comfortable and clean, safe and secure...or any other form of assistance, I might be able to help.
Although I travel frequently, I have only just discovered CS.
I shall share my experiences as, and when, they develop.
My extremely intelligent dog - Dexter.
Wondering why people are who they are.
Giving a poor man a piece of bread.
Seeing the reactions of people in an unexpected situation.
Watching people smile.
Women. <-- just to avoid any misunderstanding.
Tiny fingers on new born babies.
My adversaries. <-- Yes, in my line of work, I have them too.
Sir Winston Churchill. <-- My hero.
The Hon Michael Kirby AC CMG. <-- My other hero.
History of humanity.
Sleeping-in on a Sunday.
Being awake every other days.
Taking off and landing in an airplane.
Feeling love. <-- without sounding too mushy.
Feeling the warmth in Summer.
Watching flowers bloom in Spring.
Catching droplets of rain in Winter.
Walking through a mountain of fallen leaves in Autumn.
The list goes on...
Music, Movies, and Books
I mostly read law articles.
I love anything Pixar, Boston Legal (Deny Crane!) and The Big Bang Theory! I also love documentaries.
I just discovered a male vocal belonging to a Korean name "Lim Jae Bum" whose husky voice sounds very similar to Michael Bolton and Brian Adams. Check him out!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my last trip to China, I met an elderly woman who amazed me with her ability to undertake, with complete ease, ordinary household chores.
What was so amazing about this?
She did everything using only her toes (she was born without arms).
Teach, Learn, Share
I will be happy to share many things. Just ask.
