ABOUT ME

About me...this is tough. Not that I don't know myself, but the beautiful thing about life is discovering more and more about yourself and the amazing world we live in, every single day!

Here is the basics..
I'm 26. I grew up in beautiful San Diego, CA. I love flip flops, I would wear them 24/7 if it were my choice.

I am currently going to school to finish my bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Bio. It took me 5 years to start college after high school. I guess you could say I chose the life route. I decided that I didn't really know what I wanted to study, so I was going to go live in the real world first, in hopes of discovering it.

I love animals. I was lucky enough to get to do a special two year program, where I learned to care for and work with all types of animals. I got to work in zoos and marine parks, and learned how to educate the public about them. It was an amazing experience.

I have two dogs. One is an Alaskan Klee Kai (like a husky but small) and also a Labrador. The lab is a retired guide dog. I used to train guide dogs for the blind, which was an amazing experience.

I enjoy sports, watching and playing. Especially football (American version, but I like soccer too ;)). I enjoy anything with the ocean, scuba diving and surfing especially. Horseback riding is one of my favorites too, but I don't get to much anymore. I enjoy hiking and just exploring. I also love laser tag, but that's a long story. =)

Music is a big part of my life, especially EDM. I go to a lot of festivals and events. Music has a beautiful way of bringing the world together. =)

I am also a big geek. People might not realize it at first. I love comics and gaming. I have been going to Comic Con for over 10 years now. Video games, computer games, comics, RPG's you get the idea.

I'm an adventurer. I love meeting new people and learning about the world. There is so much to see and discover. I believe if more people traveled and opened their eyes to the amazingly diverse world we live in, the world would be a much better place. So many people, especially in the United States, have no idea at all of the world around us.

The smile on my face doesn't mean my life is perfect. It means that I appreciate what I have been blessed with and I will make the most out of it.

I love to travel, but I also love sharing my city with others. I am hoping to be able to host in the near future, when my living situation settles.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had to create a new profile because I got locked out of my old email. I have had a few experiences traveling, and it was amazing. I hope to have many more in the future. I also hope to have many experiences hosting people once my living situation settles down.

I enjoy movies, but I don't go very often. I don't watch a lot of T.V. I like reading, but I have had less and less time with my studies. I like SciFi. I love music, pretty much anything but country (sorry not my thing). EDM <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite adventures was my trip to Australia. It was my first time traveling 100% solo. I met so many amazing people and got to experience the beautiful country. I hope one day to go back, there was so much more to see.
