Just diving into it now, have stayed with others outside the CS Project on my travels and loved the experience... it always gives you a much better appreciation of where you're visiting that a hostel can't come close to capturing.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Hiking on a broken down chunk of the Great Wall of China comes to mind first, but I'd add in sleeping under the stars in the Thar Desert in Rajasthan and every single meal I had in Vietnam as well. Nothing beats Vietnamese street food.
