Healthy body, healthy mind!
I am a student about to graduate in three month
exactly from this moment I am writing this.
Grew up in South Korea and
have been studying in the States for
30.77% of my life.
According to some who like to categorize people,
I am an ambivert who is half way between
extrovert and introvert.
Sometimes, it is okay to follow rules.
There is no such thing as "absolutely favorite or dislike" in my life. I'd rather let things happen and appriciate beauty of each moment, instead of ranking things.
This applies to people, too.
I spend time capturing moments of lives usually by photography, sketching, and journaling.
Cooking is something I enjoy but my goal is not really making the most delicious food. Instead, I like exploring different ingridients and getting to know them.
I like to listen to people's stories.
By the time I get board with things listed above,
I go dancing.
I love dancing.
Swing and hip hop is what I really like and I would love to learn other dances.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This was when I was doing study abroad in Finland.
I am a clumsy person and being clumsy brings me fantastic travel stories.
As a field trip, we went to a very small island that was between Finland and Sweden. During the field trip, we had a day trip to another island that was two hours away. Somehow, I got confused about the meet-up time and location and ended up missing the ferry. Thankfully, there were two nice classmates who decided to stay at the island and search me. They told me that there is a ferry next day at around 6 am. There was a hotel in that island but we were so stingy and ended up just buying a box of beer and some food and decided to camp out instead staying at a hotel.
With the food we bought, we went for a search for a good spot to camp out and we found an old military bunker but it was too dark and dirty. There was a field of rocks on the edge of the island facing the Sun and we decided to stay there and watch extended beautiful sunset of Finland.
At that time, it was summer time and the Sun was out for almost 20 hours in southern Finland and we thought it would be okay. But during that 4 hours when the Sun was gone, it was freezing. We started fire with cardboard box from beer we bought earlier and gathered some branches for firewood. By the time when Sun had been gone for three hours, it was too cold and I decided to boil some milk in empty beer can. Three of us took a turn to sip it and thankfully we could survice the very short night.
When the sun was up, we headed to the dock to wait for the ferry. However, it turned out that there was no ferry coming until the afternoon because it was Sunday. We were so tired being up all night in the cold and ended up falling asleep at the dock under the beautiful and warm sunlight.
The ferry came in the afternoon sometime after we had enough sleep at the dock without any interuption. It was the best night ever.
The cherry on top was on our way to the dock in the morning.
We found two signs saying,
"No camping allowed" and "Warning, vipers in the rock area."
Teach, Learn, Share
I do cultural community service at my university by presenting Korean culture to people. Topics vary and I am not an expert in any specific areas. However, I know Korea from my view point and would love to share what I know.
