About Me

To find rhythm.

I like to wander, to learn, to share...working towards becoming a grower of medicinal herbs and cut flowers. Well, that's part of what I want to do when I grow up.

To be gentle, open, and honest.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I've surfed and hosted.

I'm amazed by the generosity of strangers. Travel should always involve the exchange of ideas, food, and skills.

Vegetable gardening. Fermentation of all sorts. Cooking. Baking. Foraging.Food justice. Self-sufficiency. Community. Goats. Sheep. Cheese. Herbs. Bees. Biking. Hiking. Camping.Reading. Learning languages. French language. Francophone cultures. Water. Gentle hills. Small mountains.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Lake Superior. I've never found any body of water as enchanting as Superior and the wild surrounding it. Also, wild blackberries. Trilliums. A crystal clear spring-fed river. A seemingly endless waterfall. A maple forest carpeted with ramps. And oh my god, wild blueberries. Baby goats. Kittens.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you out with cooking, baking, fermentation. Herbal medicine for sure. Goats. Cheesemaking. Plant and tree ID.

Perhaps I can offer you a hand in your garden. Or maybe even some advice if you're new to growing things. .

I want to learn what you're passionate about sharing.
