ABOUT ME

I LOVE to travel, meet new people, and have too many interests to list. I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world. I am father to 3 beautiful children, who take over my house, (and life,) every other week.

I'm as comfortable discussing existentialism and physics as I am talking about football, food, and business, politics, theology, or metaphysics.

I'm spontaneous-- repetition kills, no? If you simply need a gracious host and a place to stay, or a tour of the city's museums or dive bars, (or anything in between,) I'd love to have you. My schedule is self-setting and flexible.

I have a spare room and make a mean hot-dog fried rice.

I jog, play tennis, boxed professionally, and always have guest passes to a nearby health-club if exercise is your thing.

When I'm travelling, I cannot stand to stay still. I want to see everything and everyone all at once, and usually end up taking vacation time upon returning home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We broke down in the Sierra Nevada's some years ago. We were walking for a campground when we met a couple digging through the dumpster behind a thrift store. They put us up for almost 2 weeks-- we rock-climbed and camped most of the time. I made friends for life, and want to return the favor to the universe.

Love to read the classics and subversive fiction, as well as non-fiction and schlocky sci-fi novels from the past 50 years.
Tons of musical snobbery here. Minneapolis is home to some of the best underground hip-hop and indie rap in the country; indie rock, and all genres. A good song can be found anywhere; when I find one it stays in my Ipod for at least a month.

Boxing was a huge part of my life for most of my 20's. It allowed me to travel and make lifelong friends, (while breaking my hand 13 times and getting hit in the head.)
