About Me
When you think everything in your life is well-organized and structured it may just be a sign that you need a little less organization and less structure.
Now is the time for us, Judith and me, to be unorganized. We sold all of our belonging, got rid of our small appartment in our hometown, packed our backpacks, decided to hike two months on Iceland, booked a flight to Toronto and said: we will see what's going to happen. No plans, no iterinaries, we only had the will to get to know to life outside of the places in Europe which we know already.
And it came as it was supposed to come: in Toronto we bumped into someone on the streets, a stranger, who said: hey, why don't you pitch your tent in my backyard. We did so. Days became weeks became months. We celebrated Thanksgiving, and Helloween, we made so many trips together, we became family.
Then it was time to move on. We couchsurfed in Detroit, met friends of friends and unknown family in California, travelled across the state with the RailPass, met so many people on campgrounds and on the road - and the rest of the story is untold, yet.
We are travelling since July 2015 yet and we have another six months time to meet new people and try to extend of what we know about life and the planet at least a little more than the little we know so far.
