ABOUT ME

I work in wildlife rehabilitation in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Zoology and I'm currently working on a second bachelors in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, and Conservation. I love life, I love people, I love animals. I don't let my friends kill spiders in their homes (I take them outside for them), and I pick up earthworms off the sidewalk when it rains so they don't get squished by bikers or pedestrians. I love the outdoors. I love going on adventures and discovering new things. I want to see the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before! But I am excited to experience new cultures and especially meet new people. When I am back in the states I hope to host everyone who wants to come to Colorado and experience the majesty of living in the Rocky Mountains!

Music, Movies, and Books

My music, movie, and book tastes are so eclectic and varied that it is hard to list just a few! I love electronic music but I also really enjoy acoustic guitar and singer/songwriters that play the piano. I love being introduced to new music styles and I love going to shows.

I enjoy reading and I can gobble up a book a day if I don't have anything else to do (this is rare!).

In my city we have a drive-in movie theater so you can sit outside at night and watch a movie on the big screen while sitting in a camp chair and looking up at the stars at the same time, it is one of my favorite things to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I surfed in Guam just before a typhoon hit the island.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you should find an injured animal, I can teach you how to handle it so as not to hurt it or yourself. I can show you how to bottlefeed orphaned wildlife, and that all baby raccoons have a special spot that when rubbed will cause them to purr really loud.
