About Me

To remember my dreams

I love reading and writing experimental and avant-garde poetry. I try to be good to my body and the earth. I live for new experiences.

I always strive to make the thing I love doing the most into my life's work even though it's something that doesn't usually pay.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I'm interested in hosting an occasional member in my home when I think this person is someone I would like to be friends with. I will also only ask to surf with other people when I think we have some shared views of the world.

I'm very open to meeting people for drinks or afternoons in parks.

I have met some very dear people through this organisation, people who have taught me lessons about their culture and about ways of living. I look forward to many more of these positive experiences.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I've fallen in love, hitchhiked with my love, then hitchhiked through Sweden, Denmark, and Germany alone to see my love again.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I could teach you something about poetry if you're interested and maybe something about rock climbing. I've worked as a teacher for several years now, but really I think I'm better at motivating and encouraging. I could encourage you to live your dream if you're not already doing that.

Learn: I really want to learn German and how to repair my bicycle. I love bicycle riding, but don't even know the basics of bike repair.

Share: I love to share my (limited) knowledge about Berlin and what to do here.
