ABOUT ME

I am currently pedaling around the USA on my trike www.crazyguyonabike.com/gphavas. I work in and support my community with volunteer time most recently on the SLO Parks and Recreation Committee. I support my bike community and cycling everywhere for fun, fitness, and travel. I plan to be back in SLO the end of September. I am also a member of Warm Showers and will initiate hosting upon my return.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This will unfold as I look for Warm Showers hosts along my route (ACA Maps: eastern seacoast, Northern Tier and Pacific Coast). Of course i seek to make this trip more about pedaling and chatting and less about spending dollars and time in motels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently: arriving at Anastasia State Beach and seeing the Mighty Atlantic after pedaling this first leg of my journey. A couple of others are tall bikes and the four hour thunderstorm in West Texas!
