COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't ever couch surfed, but I've had lots of fun experiences sleeping on the couches of people I don't know. When I was hitch hiking in New Zealand, one of the guys who picked us up drove us a long way in the back of his pickup truck. We stopped at a couple points to take in the scenery and pick up some salmon. Then he drove us to his home to make us dinner of fresh salmon and potatoes that we dug from his garden and let us stay over in his house. I'm always blown away by the hospitality of people!

Biking! I actually bike everywhere. Basically I love anything that involves being outside: hiking, running, kayaking, canoeing, camping.
I also love cooking, reading, playing my guitar, and interesting conversations.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've seen a lot of absolutely gorgeous scenery in my life. I've got vivid memories of sunsets on the West Coast Trail, or the incredibly blue water in Garibaldi Lake. One of the more ridiculous outdoors things I've done is biking around the Scottish Highlands in May. It rained the entire time, so I spent several days soaked, and completely covered in mud, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
