About Me

CURRENT MISSION

improve the education and living quality of the villagers and locals in the area of Tanzania in which I live.

ABOUT ME

I'm Craig, 30, half Zimbabwean, but from the UK and now living in Tanzania, East Africa. My aim is to live in as many places as possible before I stop to settle down. Along the way I hope to meet as many different cultures as possible, learn as many new languages as I can, and try and live in a positive way and help everyone I meet.

PHILOSOPHY

Gave up on trying to fit in a long time ago. I'm born of this world and feel that my place here needs to be created by me, not provided or given by anything else in society. I'm happiest when i'm up against a real challenge, and living in the UK just never throws up these challenges. Moving on to Africa has opened up my mind to how I'd like to be, who I'd like to be, and perhaps closer to where I'm like to be :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just joined, feel like this would be a good idea should i get stuck somewhere, or to find new friends who may be close and need a hand.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had a few surfers stay at our house, and their experience seemed really good, quite fancy giving this a go, and finding places to stay around Europe and Africa.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taken a broken, run down and dying computer lab and turnign it into a vibrant and colourful place to work. Helping the villagers near me to reach out and see the internet, use it for themselves, and learn why the rest of the world has been doing this for years.
