ABOUT ME

I run a swing dance company with a friend: http://corvallisswing.com

For my day job I'm a software engineer at HP.

In between, I'm your typical, educated, middle-class, wholesome American with dreams, hopes, ideals and determination with a side of laziness and complacency.

I appreciate the musician, the farmer, the engineer, the painter, the chef, the diplomat, and the scientist. I enjoy ultimate Frisbee and soccer.

I laugh easily, and presume to know very little.

PHILOSOPHY

Well, as Camus wrote:

"If there is a sin against life, it consists perhaps not so much in despairing of life as in hoping for another life and in eluding the implacable grandeur of this life."
