ABOUT ME

Hey there! Well, I was born into this world in 1974 in the city of Tampere in Finland. For more than ten years now, I have lived in the capital Helsinki.

I try to view life with a relaxed, open-minded curiosity. A calm observer with a good sense of humour, I enjoy both my own company as well as the company of good people of the world. Some of the things that I enjoy include art, reading, films, listening to music, swimming/running and watching English football, travelling, good food and good beer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually don't accommodate guests during weekdays (because of work), but possibly during (long) weekends. If you're the type of person who enjoys independent exploring, then that's perfectly fine by me (I often do, when I travel). But I would also be happy to show you some of the interesting places in Helsinki.

And in the near future, I might do some travelling/couch surfing myself.

Intereses

Books, films, pop music, football, tennis, running, travelling, general interest in what goes on in the world. And I'd like to improve my French. Oui!

Música, películas y libros

Movies: occasionally. An interesting story is what counts, sometimes I find that in independent-inclined films, sometimes in French new wave classics. Other times it's "something completely different".

Musicwise: The Beatles, Morrissey, Blur, Pulp, Suede, David Bowie, Pet Shop Boys, Belle & Sebastian, The Jam, Elliott Smith, PJ Harvey, Amy Winehouse, Kaiser Chiefs, Kent, Muse, Lily Allen, Ark, AC/DC, Robbie Williams, Britta Persson. And many others.

Books: yes, please.
