About Me

The worst thing I've ever done is travel outside of North America. I say that, because since I did just that in 2010, all I want to do is understand other cultures and meet new people.

I like running, reading, going to coffee shops and going out to eat. My job keeps me pretty busy most of the year, but I find pockets of time to travel the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get to know other people and better understand how they view the world. There's something strangely inspiring about opening up your home to complete strangers and putting your trust in the best qualities that humanity has to offer.

Running, reading, hiking, watching documentaries and writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran along the coast in Sorrento, Italy in the rain. Might not sound amazing, but the backdrop of the cliffs, the Mediterranean Sea and the rainbow in the distance made it one of the most intense and awesomely inspiring experiences of my life.
