"I am satisfied, and sufficiently occupied with the things which are, without tormenting myself about those which may indeed be, but of which I have no evidence." -- Thomas Jefferson
No machos or homophobics persons.If you're bi, gay or really gay friendly of course we'll have much more to share, correct??
I like all kinds of people, but I'm very choosy in who I host. I get along with men much better , since I enjoy personal talks and I don't compete. I get along best with people who travel alone, and don't snore.(LOL) . Can't host
girls( no possibility to respect their privacy).
SVP sans etre parano je risque de vous demander une copie de votre carte d'identite ,ok?
Sorry...for safety reasons i'll ask you to show me an Id or Passeport. Definitively gay friendly.
Humanist. I hate intolerence concerning sexuality of the others, religions integrists and so... Agnostic.
Tolerance et liberty are indiscutables

William Butler Yeats. b. 1865
When You are Old
WHEN you are old and gray and full of sleep
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;
How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true;
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face.
And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead,
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some of you may or may not know this, but couchsurfing is not, from its origin till now, meant to be the way to get generous, good-hearted "locals" to save money for badly-organized travelers who realize that they are arriving in Paris the following day, have not bothered to look for a place to stay and don't want to pay for a hostel. Most of us who host quite a bit are happy to help out when such a situation arises, but we also don't like to be taken advantage of. Part of the mutual respect that should occur between surfer and host comes from spending 15 minutes to fill out your profile correctly (with more than one picture), telling us when you're actually arriving and why you would like to stay with any one of us in particular. We've all been poor students at one time or another, and that is not a good enough reason. And saying that you're "cool, laid-back and open-minded" is not very original either. So please, especially in this very busy summer holiday time, when we receive 5 to 10 requests a day, make an effort and be original. It will pay off. Guaranteed!
