I really just want to throw myself out into the world and let it change me.
I'm an avid day dreamer. But when I'm not doing that I like trying new things, even if I really suck at them. From this wide range of things that I've tried, the things that I've actually managed to stick with are: jogging, snowboarding, swimming, yoga, dancing and keeping my brain fresh with whatever reading material interests me. I'm more of a one on one person rather than a group person. I love learning about people from all different walks of life. On the weirdness scale (I am a firm believer that all humans are "weird" to some degree), I think I manage to not exceed the cute, quirky weird rating.
I am a firm believer that all things are connected and that all things good and bad have a rippling effect on this planet. I believe that every thing you do no matter how small defines what type of person you are. So I believe in doing as many good things as possible before I die. Yeah, I think that sums it up.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Peace Corps volunteers make great couch surfers. I've done a great deal of surfing around the country, whether with other volunteers or with Ukrainian friends.
Cultures, philosophy, traveling (obviously), jogging, swimming, snowboarding, music, dancing, food (strange food)...
Music, Movies, and Books
I love folk music from any culture. I also like various genres in the rock and roll spectrum from classic to punk to emo to whatever. I really just like anything with soul to it.
I love the Russian classics- Dostoyevski, Tolstoy, Bulgokov...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went through class four Colorado white water rapids in a tire tube.
