I love meeting people from different locations and cultures. I am fascinated with how other people see this crazy world we live in.

I work a lot, but am always willing to make time to show someone around Tampa Bay. I have always dreamed to take a long vacation and travel the world by bicycle. Maybe one day I will make it a reality.

I have been reading on this website for years and I finally decided it was time for me to start participating.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of my couch surfing has involved sleeping in foreign airports. I am hoping to improve on that.

I am trying to learn Russian. I find the Russian culture very interesting. It is one of the least accessible areas of the world for non-Russian speakers.

I have traveled to Eastern Europe and had a brief glimpse of the Russian culture. It makes me want to see more, and there is so much more of Russia to see.

* I have seen the rain forests of Belize.
* I have climbed the steps of an ancient Mayan pyramid in Guatemala.
* I have walked through the overgrown World War 2 trenches in Belarus.
* I have stood in the great Roman Colosseum and imagined it filled with people.
* I have seen a NASA shuttle launch into space in Florida.
* I was able to see the twin towers in New York just weeks before they fell.

I love the ocean and the waves. I surf and dive every chance I can. I love seeing the wonder in people's eyes the first time they see the ocean.

I enjoy rock climbing. There is something magical about testing your courage in a safe environment. That is why I will always climb with rope and harness.

I love the thrill of adventure. I have always wanted to go sky diving and try hang-gliding.
