Hi, I'm Guilhem (in English it's the equivalent of William even if the perfect traduction of William is Guillaume in french... PS. Guilhem is an older name than Guillaume which come fron the south of France near Montpellier). Anyway, enough small talk :)

I'm sure that a couchsurfing experience as a beginning will be the perfect start to know the essentials things about the Irish culture, I've never been a fan of "touristic sites" and I rather like to spend time with people that really enjoy life and sharing stories about their home, country, food, etc.. I'm a bike fan and I only move around with my faithful bicycle which follows me as much as possible. If my future can be only go hiking everywhere, biking and sharing amazing moments with people all around the world I sign right now! Cheers, a french friend who wishes you well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to share good moments with locals, having good times and to share the best booze of your place! I'm a big animal that truly love meat and if you know good meals I'm in (if your're vegan I can fit too, few days or weeks without meat is possible after all :)))

Interests

I love hiking in mountains and I'm not only come to Ireland to study but also to visit as much as I can of the country and the more it is by bike and by foot (with grabbing a good beer), the better it is. (ps. I intend to travel around the island at the end of my Erasmus year by bike during about a month, and I'm open to some crazy friend of roads!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Evïgt Mörker, Chez Damiez, DJ Koze, Aphex Twin, MTD, Acronym, Ancient Methods, Answer Code Request... (I love the work of a lot of techno producers) and time to time I like listening to some Jazz. But you got it, I'm kind of a "bass geek". To sum it up, it's all about enjoying basslines and deep melodies that make you fly and feel all your body. Oh and I love Dire Straits, Moby and The Strangers too :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I delivered food during 4 months by bike in my hometown doing more than 2500 kilometres in that time... It was quit an experience and now I know much more my city (and I also know how you feel when a company don't pay you a month of work). To sum it up, I worked for a capitalist company once and will never do the same mistake again ahah!

Sharing a good meal with a good bear(or beer ahah?)! (I'm keen on politics and human science, so if you're too, I hope you have plenty of beers and good chairs to sit in). Yeah I love beer, sorry ;)
