To travel the USA, from LA to my best friend (@ Harvard University, Boston) learning and playing folk and blues music from/for locals along the way!

ABOUT ME

I love new experiences, meeting new people, adventure and excitement. I play several instruments, read a lot of books, have worked a tonne of wildly different jobs, and have quite a number of interesting experiences to relate.

PHILOSOPHY

Forgive as much as you can, be as kind as you can, help those in need, be honest,learn as much as you can about everything, and try to do something worthwhile and lasting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have helped out couch-surfers in the past (before I got this account, even!) with a place to stay, sometimes even giving up my own bed when I don't need it. I like to be a a sort of local guide to my area for newcomers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had several people from Europe come and stay on my couch for extended periods of time. I showed them around Sydney and tried to help them have as much fun as possible. I enjoyed their company immensely and feel richer for the experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Experiencing the hugeness of the universe in an emotional way ("groking" macroscale), then experiencing emotionally the hugeness of the tiny (the relatively galactic distances between subatomic particles).
