I've been a member for many years, yet never used the service. I really believe in showing kindness to strangers, and being an avid world traveler for much of my life, much of the kindness I've received (that has been most meaningful) has been when I was away from my home in a place I was unfamiliar with. I want to meet people like those I've met in my journeys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I delivered twin babies on a dirt road in the bush if Zambia in the middle of the night with my bare hands, saving the boy's life, who was delivered breach (and having him named after me). The girl, delivered first, was named Irene. Intense experience.

What I Can Share with Hosts

5 years of experience in Africa. Experienced with computers and web design. I know a lot about Disney, and tend to plan vacations there and otherwise after lots of planning and researching, so I'm a good resource (esp for Zambia, Canada, California, and Maryland/DC). Occasionally I have a home brewed beer I like to share with friends and strangers. 😊
