About Me

My name is Jonathan. I am 25 years old. I am from Georgia, though I'm currently stuck in the middle of Texas and am looking for a way out. Overall I'm a pretty easy-going person, if initially somewhat reserved. I am friendly, fun-loving, intelligent and creative. I always try to be an excellent houseguest and fun company.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I currently don't have a residence of my own, I have no couch to offer presently. I hope to do some couchsurfing and travel.

While I have no formal couchsurfing experience through this site, I have considerable experience prior to discovering CouchSurfers. When I was 18 I struck out on my own. Young, broke, and filled with piss and vinegar, I picked up my stakes and made the perilous journey east to the rugged, lawless town of Athens, Georgia, home to the University of Georgia, the #1 party school in the land. There I spent 6 months as the resident couch-guy of an apartment occupied by four girls. It was like some sort of sitcom. Their apt also happened to be one of the party hotspots of town. We had a blast over those six months. I tried to be inobtrusive and did dishes and helped clean while the girls were in class, and we partied when they weren't.

Now I again live as a couch-guest of some friends, but now in only a parttime capacity, as I do actually have a home, I just don't stay there often.
