Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard this site from my friend some months ago. While I'm looking for hostels for my this trip to spain, I saw some persons who used C.S. So I am joining this site.
I want to make local friends , eat and experience local food & culutures. But it is so hard to experience when I go there with a guide book.
If time allow me to free, I want to help foreigners tours for their friends .
