About Me

Get familiar with interesting people and places

I have a strong mystical side and this shows up in my creative endeavors. I love to travel and generally think young when it comes to things like music and lifestyle.

I like to see people with quirky interests, I usually gain a lot from listening to them and their stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I new to this site.

I have traveled extensively in France where I mostly stay with relatives in Fontainebleau, and various parts of Normandy. I have been to the east coast of Costa Rica and stayed in the jungle with its scary Howler monkeys and friendly stray dogs. I especially like NYC where I stayed in Red Hook. An interesting trip was in New Bern, North Carolina, a 300 year-old town that has a history of witch culture.

I am very into media, making short films, shooting stills with vintage cameras, collecting 19th century photos, watching obscure films (Orson Wells, Antonioni, Bunuel). On the mainstream side I like The Big Bang and Two a Half Men as well as some more informative PBS stuff like Nova and Forum. I am currently self-employed.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a guerilla stereo file and listen to all genres of music; I particularly like Cowboy Junkies, Iron and Wine, John Zorn, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shared several times the experience of the ultimate journey with others in their time of need.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cultivate empathy, learn from shared experiences, and teach whatever it is I need to be learning at the moment.
