Overview
About Me
I recently returned to West Virginia after a nice long sojourn down south (New Orleans to be exact). Currently, I am a student at Marshall University.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I need more travel in my life, and it's nice to get away from my--admittedly dull--town. I get to meet new people in the process.
Interests
Running. I am aiming toward an off-road trail marathon in the springtime.
Food. I can make most things taste good.
Urban planning/Design. I geek out over this subject. It is a major reason I returned to school.
Books. My Kindle gets plenty of use.
Music. I love going to shows and festivals. I'm a pretty serious audiophile who listens to a wide range of genres.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music. Almost anything, from Del McCoury to Future Sound of London to David Bowie to the Grateful Dead to Chopin.
Movies. Haven't seen that many movies. Wes Anderson, P.T. Anderson, and Stanley Kubrick are ok in my book.
Books. Recently read Happy City, by Charles Montgomery; The Glass Bead Game, by Herman Hesse; about to try Don Quixote again. Lots of books on urban planning, architecture, and design.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving cross country to a strange new city, not knowing a single soul, was quite the experience. I hope to replicate this kind of experience in a year or so.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn more about graphic/web design, so someone who is experienced in that field who would like to share some information would be great.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My kindness and sense of humor.
