Hosting and meeting locals when i travel. In addition, i attend Cs events in Cairo like Felucca dish parties on the Nile!
Never been guest yet though i hosted some couchsurfers and it' always a great pleasure.
i like reading and learning langages, discussing international politics and attending crosss cultural events.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to Soul music such as Boyz II Man, Lionel richie and would always thing Aicha at any Karaoke!
I enjoy reading Sambene Ousmane, Chinua Achebe, Andre Brink, Tolstoi, Stendhal,Saint Exupery, Gerard de Villiers, John Grisham.
Also i prefer Noam Chomsky to Samuel Huntington, Edward Said to Bernard Lewis.
Initally i read a lot in French like all movies from classics to comedie except horror!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living in cairo just 10 min walks from Midan Tahrir and wetnessing History unfolding durant the Egyptian revolution, that was amazing.

i have a special interest for the arabic poetry in general and the andalusian poetry in particular.
Graduate of two Universities in Egypt, i teach the Standard Arabic language (fus'ha)and can help you with the egyptian colloquial (ammeyya).
In addition, i have a special interest for the arabic poetry and would love to share the best poems of Majnoon Layla, Imru' Al Quais, Al Mutannabi, Shawky, Ibn Al arabi, Ibn Zaydun, Ar rundi..
